When you experience a place like Siem Reap, it’s hard to put it all into words. It’s needless to say that the area of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples is breathtaking. But what also struck me about Cambodia are the beautiful people. Everyone are smiling, welcoming, warm and kind. During our week here, we haven’t encountered a single unfriendly person.

If you know a bit about Cambodia, and what this country and these people have been through, you can’t do anything but admire their happiness and positivity.

I shot most of these photos walking the streets of Siem Reap, and visiting the countryside North-East of the city on a very dusty motorbike ride.

I will upload a few videos from Siem Reap on my YouTube channel soon. For now, you can enjoy this behind-the-scenes video of some these portraits!
